Nicole Kidman is a proud mother of four. However, the star seldom speaks in public of her elders, the two now grown-up children that she adopted with her ex-husband Tom Cruise during their ten-year marriage.
But now she breaks her silence. In a new interview, the 51-year-old not only talked about Isabella Cruise, 25, and Connor Cruise, 23, but also revealed how she sees her own role in their lives today.
"I am very confidential about all this," said the star of the latest issue of the Australian magazine Who. "I have to protect all those relationships."
But do not confuse her hesitation to discuss it with her. She is always attached to their needs.
"I know 150% that I would give up my life for my children because that's what I'm trying to do," she said clearly.
Isabella and Connor, like their father, belong to the Church of Scientology and, although Kidman has no such affiliation with the controversial organization, she has an attitude of living and letting all this live.
"They are able to make their own decisions," she told Who. "They made choices to be Scientologists, and as a mother it's my duty to love them, and I'm an example of that tolerance, and that's what I believe – no matter what your child, the child has love and the child must know that there is love available and I am open here. She insisted that it was wrong to ever "break" this unwavering bond.
