Locklear was arrested Sunday night for allegedly attacking a police officer and an ambulance technician who responded to a disturbance call at his residence, confirmed PEOPLE.
According to Ventura County Sheriff's Office spokesman Captain Garo Kuredjiann, MPs visited Locklear's home on Sunday after receiving a disturbance call shortly after 11 pm. Locklear would have been "extremely intoxicated" and "arguing with friends and family" when they arrived, he said. While the deputies tried to separate her, she kicked a responding officer.
She also reportedly kicked a paramedic in the upper chest while he was lying on a stretcher, Kuredjian said.
The actress was taken to the hospital where she was medically allowed. She was then taken to the Ventura County Main Prison and booked for two battery crimes accounts on a police officer or an emergency staff member. A plea has not yet been registered. Locklear is scheduled to appear in court in August, according to the archives.
