Married for over 20 years, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are considered to be one of Hollywood's most powerful couples, but their relationship has not always been easy.
On Friday, in a preview of the next episode of Jada's live chat on Facebook, "Red Table Talk," Jada explained why she never wanted to divorce, despite the highs and lows of the wedding.
At a round table with singer Toni Braxton and Jada's mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, the actress revealed that there were several reasons why divorce did not seem to be the right decision .
"For me personally, I am not mature enough to divorce," said Jada, 47. "I just do not, I do not think I'll be mature enough, I'm not."
Braxton, who divorced her ex-husband Keri Lewis in 2013, asked Jada how she felt like that.
"Because when you have to start entering, breaking assets, it's just there …" Jada began.
Banfield-Jones tried to help her daughter explain further: "When to start dividing things, separate, cut …"
"Let me tell you that it is at that time that the red table spills and that it will no longer be red!" Said Jada hitting the red table on the stage of the show. "It's going to be broken in a mess."
In a previous episode of "Red Table Talk", Jada revealed that she did not want to marry Will, 50, on their wedding day. In another recent episode, Will himself had several confessions about their relationship.
He admitted that there had been a time when he "failed miserably" in the marriage. Will also stated that he feared that Jada would divorce, and he never wanted that to happen.
"Because I had divorced before I was divorced," he said. "Divorce was not an option."
In spite of their many difficulties, the couple is determined to stay together, so that there will be no clash or table overturns in the future.
The full episode of "Red Table Talk" airs November 26 on Facebook Watch.
