NASHVILLE – Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney will miss Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Clowney was considered dubious with an elbow and back injury and was a limited participant in the practice all week.

The # 1 2014 pick had two tackles combined in the Texans' loss to the Patriots, but he felt he was still rusty because of the time he missed in the offseason. Clowney did not participate in the Texans OTA this spring and missed most of the training camp while recovering from a knee injury.

Last season, Clowney played 16 games for the first time in his career.

The Titans face injuries on their offensive line, while the Jack Conklin (knee) and Taylor Lewan (concussion) tackles were also sidelined for the game.

Schefter reports that receivers DeAndre Hopkins (foot) and Will Fuller (hamstring) will be active Sunday. Both were listed as questionable entering the match in Nashville.
