Quarterback Bucs Jameis Winston was sued by Arizona Uber pilot who accused him of sexual assault by fumbling in March 2016.
The woman – identified only as Kate P. in the Federal Court documents – is claiming over $ 75,000 in damages after saying that Winston had grabbed her crotch while driving a Mexican restaurant.
Tuesday's development comes weeks after an eight-month NFL investigation that determined that he had touched the woman "inappropriately and sexually without her consent". Winston – who has not been criminally charged in the incident – is also approaching the last game of a three-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal driving policy.

"She is not impressed by her lack of honesty or awareness of her behavior," said Kate's lawyer, John Clune. "Perhaps a more direct financial sanction will attract his attention – he needs to learn from that and have a fair idea or pay the penalty.
"She knows she could be a quick bump in her football career, but she's not going to be small."
The complaint – filed in the US District Court for the District of Arizona – presents little new information, but reiterates the details already provided on the allegation.
When Kate stopped at the International Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, around 13:41, one of the men who approached her car called her warm and encouraged Winston to sit in the front seat. , depending on the costume.
Kate alleged that Winston "became bellicose" and swore and used racial slurs through the window during the ride. The lawsuit stated that Winston "did not seem to be very intoxicated".

Kate unveiled her story last fall in the middle of the #MeToo growing movement.
After having denied the charges against him for seven months, Mr. Winston issued a statement after his suspension in June, that "I sincerely apologize" to the woman. The NFL investigation, citing both testimony and evidence such as phone records, said his account was "consistent and credible".
An NFL statement said that in addition to missing three games, Winston, 24, will have to "get a clinical evaluation and fully cooperate with any recommended therapeutic intervention program". Failure to do so will result in additional punishment, "including a potential ban on the NFL".
Winston, who won a national title and the Heisman Trophy at Florida State, has no contact with the Bucs during his three-game suspension.
The representatives of Kate and Winston have previously agreed to extend the limitation period from March to September 20. Winston fired his agents in July and ended his deal with law firm GrayRobinson a week and a half ago.
"No one seems to be advising on this as far as we can tell," said Clune. "He is apparently making his own decisions."
Clune is the same Colorado-based attorney who represented Erica Kinsman of Zephyrhills in a previous sexual assault complaint against Winston. This case stems from a meeting in December 2012 when Kinsman and Winston were students from the former USSR. Winston has never been arrested or charged with a crime in this case, and a Title IX University hearing has declared him not responsible for wrongdoing. Winston and Kinsman settled their lawsuit and reconvened in December 2016.
Tuesday's lawsuit mentions Winston's "history of sexually hostile behavior" and that he "seems to be no closer to understanding the impact of his conduct". She alleges that the injuries suffered by Kate include "emotional distress as well as future therapeutic expenses" and that she must "exemplary or punitive damages to punish and deter such conduct".
Winston's last out-of-field title comes two days after the Bucs eliminated the reigning Super Bowl Eagles to improve to 2-0 with Ryan Fitzpatrick in Winston's absence. Next week, Tampa Bay will host the Steelers Monday night and play in Chicago in the first week of Winston.
Winston has started 45 games for the Bucs since they selected him as the No. 1 in the 2015 NFL Draft. He has cast 11,636 yards, 69 touchdowns and 44 interceptions and was selected for the 2015 Pro Bowl.
In April, the Bucs opted for the fifth-year option, which will earn $ 20.9 million in 2019. It is only guaranteed against injury.
