James Wan will produce a remake of the acclaimed Korean zombie movie Train to Busan. The famous horror filmmaker, best known for his expanded horror universe, released in 2013 Conspiracy, has taken a lot of production projects lately, and Train to Busan has been added to the list as the next horror movie it will help broadcast on the big screen.
Train to Busan was a popular South Korean horror film released in 2016 and directed by Yeon Sang-Ho. The film follows a group of people in a train that has to fight to survive a zombie virus epidemic inside the train. Considered by many to be one of the best movies of the year, Train to Busan has been extremely popular in Asian markets, but flew relatively under the radar in the United States, despite its critical buzz and international fame. At the moment, horror fans in America will receive their own version of Yeon Sang-Ho's zombie story, while Wan is expected to produce a remake for Hollywood.

The news came first from Deadline Tuesday, who reported that Wan will produce, along with Gary Dauberman (Annabelle) write the scenario of the remake. Wan and Dauberman have collaborated on many occasions in the past and have worked Conjuring franchise on several different movies.
