America did not have the expected Blue Wave Tuesday by many Hollywood, but a rainbow wave in Colorado: James Corden's stars at Billy Eichner enjoyed Jared Polis' win in Colorado, becoming the first openly gay governor of American history.
The Polis beat Republican Treasurer Walker Stapleton, reported the Associated Press. He will succeed time-limited Democratic Governor John Hickenlooper.

Jaboukie Young-White, recently named a new correspondent for Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Trevor Noah", was also a fan of Polis' victory and wrote: "jared polis is the first openly gay governor of the United States. and I stan openly "

Overall, the election night was a mix of things. The Democrats won the House – which will give them the power to summon President Trump – while Republicans will retain control of the Senate.
Two of Hollywood's most beloved candidates, Beto O. Rourke, Texas Senate candidate, and Georgia's governor candidate Stacey Abrams failed to beat the odds of beating Republicans in traditionally red states.
