After releasing Willy, the child actor Jason James Richter did not spare his troubles.
Richter, who played Jesse in "Free Willy" and "Free Willy 2", was arrested on Monday for domestic violence in the San Fernando Valley, TMZ said. He spent two nights in jail before being released on Wednesday with a $ 20,000 bail.
Richter allegedly quarreled with his girlfriend after allegedly asking her if she had an affair with a colleague. The girlfriend reportedly told the police that she had run into the bedroom and locked the door, but Richter had finally broken the door to enter the room. She claimed that he then dragged her into the living room.
Later, she went to the police station and filed a report of domestic violence. Richter was also charged with one vandalism charge for breaking the door and another battery charge on another important man without physical injury.
