Jenna Dewan says goodbye to World of dance – kind of!
On Monday, the 37-year-old, who has hosted the show since the first season, has announced her departure from the NBC reality series.
"Hi to my world of dance lovers! I have some news to share: I will not be returning to the show as a Season 3 host, "commented Dewan on an Instagram photo of herself posing on the tray.
Although she will no longer be the host of the show, Dewan has revealed that she will be part of World of dance in a certain capacity.
"But I will not be able to stay far away for long, and I plan to return to mentor candidates as much as possible," said Dewan. "It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of this incredible, ground-breaking show from the very beginning, and I am always grateful to my family @nbc, @jlo, @derekhough @neyo and everyone involved in this trip. "

Sources said Dewan's decision to leave the series was due to a timing issue, and the production considers it irreplaceable. There will be no organizer for the third season.
Dewan currently has a recurring role in The resident, which will be released Monday to Fox.
