It's been almost six months since Jenni Pulos says that Jeff Lewis sent her away from Jeff Lewis Design. Now the mother of three says she is more than ready to move on.

The once-close connection between Lewis and Pulos, who had started as an assistant, was broken during a luncheon while she claimed to have let her leave the company and verbally attacked her in a way that she found inexcusable. People first reported that longtime friends had separated in September.
"When I saw who he really thought, our friendship was over," says Pulos. "As a mother and as a wife of a good man, the behavior was no longer acceptable."
Although Pulos stated that she always planned to "see the show until the end," explosive fighting was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Since May, when Pulos claimed to have spoken to Lewis for the last time, the mother of two re-evaluated her often tumultuous story with fiery Lewis.
"We had absolutely a fighting and make-up dynamic," she says. "But who I was 11 years ago is very different from the one I want to be today. And I recognize that a lot of what I did not say, or tolerate certain behaviors, was wrong. Abuse is unacceptable. "
Since separating, Pulos has also addressed Lewis' public allegations that she had filed complaints of wrongful dismissal, abuse and victimization and that she had not worked for him for years, simulating the relationship for cameras. . Pulos strongly denies both allegations, saying: "It was very real, very authentic and I'm proud of what we built."

From now on, Pulos focuses on her family (she has two daughters, Alianna, 5, and Georgia, 17 months old with her husband, Jonathan Nassos), as well as a new direction for her career.
"I've always been an artist, that's what feeds me," she says. "And I'm excited about the opportunity to work with people who are just happy that I'm here. I think none of us should enlighten each other. "
