Jennifer Garner goes out with her new boyfriend John Miller

A romantic date! Friday night, Jennifer Garner was spotted with her new boyfriend, John Miller, marking the first common public appearance of the pair.

Both attend a performance of the musical Dear Evan Hansen at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles. The actress wore a gray blazer, a white button shirt and blue jeans, as well as her glasses.

Both avoided being photographed together. They arrived just before 8 pm in a limo, with Garner coming out first and Miller a few minutes later. After the performance, he was seen leaving the theater a few minutes before her and was waiting in the limousine, said a witness to E! New.

Both seemed to be in a good mood, smiling as they found themselves inside the car.

A source told E! Last month's announcement that Garner and Miller, the CEO of CaliGroup holding company, saw each other casually and that their relationship was "not serious". Neither commented publicly on this.

This marks Garner's first public relationship since she and her Ben Affleck divided in 2015.

"She's been hanging out with him for a few months and getting to know him," the source said. "They have friends in common and know some of the same people through their children."

Miller did not meet the three children of Garner and Affleck.

The gallant date of Garner and Miller comes shortly after she and Affleck have finalized their divorce and more than two weeks after Miller finalized his own divorce from his former violinist Caroline Campbell, with whom he shares two children, court records show.
