He wonders how he could have adapted this famous saying for the NFL, where the matches are not necessarily finished when they are finished. INVOICES (+4 ¹ / ₂) on the Titans: Tennessee has won its last three games by three points each. Every game is a dog fight. Waiting for the Bills to be home outsiders at this location.
Dolphins (+6) on BENGALS: Even counting their destruction last week in New England, the Dolphins are 8-3-1 against the gap in Ryan Tannehill's last 12 starts. The Bengals are excellent underdogs, but it's a lot of points to give TE Tyler Eifert for the season and RB Giovani Bernard and Joe Mixon in the lead.
Ravens (-3) on BROWNS: The Ravens are in a situation similar to that of the Chiefs, coming out of a prime time victory and victory on the road. Do not panic, however, with a team that has already scored 44, 13 and 12 points this season. This is a well-rounded team that, for this reason, is less likely to be disappointed. In addition, the Ravens have won and covered nine of their last ten visits to Cleveland.
LIONS (+1) on Packers: The Pack lost by two touchdowns in Washington in its only road game this season, and apart from last week's Bills badging, it was tough. Vikings (-3) on EAGLES: Rematch of the NFC title game. This time, the Vikings have a better quarterback (Kirk Cousins on Case Keenum). Of course, the Eagles have recovered Carson Wentz, but the team around him is suffering, with five key players – Derek Barnett, Fletcher Cox, Corey Clement, Alshon Jeffery and Darren Sproles – all missing mid-field training week.
Cardinals (+4) out of 49ERS: After losing their first two games by 18 and 34 points, the Cardinals dropped in their next two games by 2 and 3, covering both gaps. To think that David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Josh Rosen can put together an effort that finally puts one in the winning column.
Rams (-7) on SEAHAWKS: This legion now seems to be officially condemned now that Count Thomas left with a broken leg. I can not see them stop this Rams nuclear offense unless all the 12th men come to the field.
Cowboys (+3) on Texas: Elliott has had 127 and 152 rushing yards in the last two games. It was also encouraging for the Cowboys to be able to defeat the Lions last week without SB Lee.
Monday evening
SAINTS (-6¹ / ₂) on red skins: Last November, the Saints eliminated a 31-16 deficit in less than six minutes and beat the Skins, 34-31 in overtime. The match is on Sean Payton's radar since the release of the calendar, so expect a 60-minute effort from the Saints here.
Best bets: Steelers, Ravens, Adventurers.
Lock of the week: Steelers (locks 3-1 in 2018).
