It took a nod to Sam Darnold for it to look like a quarter of the Jets.
After winning the starting job against Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater this summer, choice # 3 made his debut Monday night against the Lions. The Jets lost the draw, but the Lions postponed, giving Darnold a chance to get rid of the nerves by finding themselves in the center immediately.

Consider the shaken nerves. From the first shot of the scrum, Darnold simulated a handoff, rolled to his right, and then decided to throw a float on the other side of the field where the Lions were defending. On the other hand, it is the most important thing for the Jets since the buttocks escape. The Jets can write new players, change coaches and sign self-serve stars, but the Jets are still the Jets. And I must say that it's nice to have some consistency in the NFL to change.
