The winner of the Golden Globe twice (which, if we are honest, was really rebuffed when he did not receive an Oscar nomination for "The Truman Show" or "Man on the Moon") will return to the Screen as Dr. Robotnik in the upcoming film "Sonic the Hedgehog".
Although best known for his comedies ("Dumb and Dumber", "Bruce Almighty") and occasional dramatic turns ("Eternal Sunshine of Flawless Mind"), Carrey also portrayed his share of characters more Dark: "Lemony Snicket A" The Cable Guy "showed how laughter can turn into screaming.
Familiar to all those who had a Sega Genesis in the early 90s, Robotnik is distinguished by its round frame and big mustache; Carrey in costume will surely be a sight to behold.
