MINNEAPOLIS – Jimmy Butler's Disgruntled Guard Was When He Was Introduced When He Touched The Ball In The Minnesota Timberwolves' home opener Friday night.

Tom Thibodeau was introduced to Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of Kevin Thibault, who has been coming to Minnesota for a few years.

Butler, who asked for a trade from the Wolves last month, also declined to acknowledge Glen Taylor. In his normal seat at the end of the bench team, Taylor shook hands with several players, Goal Butler walked by him.

Taylor said he and Butler is making the most of the team.

Butler had a sting and then had a positive attitude to the game, but it was still a bit more "MVP, MVP" songs while at the free throw line.

But he made it clear this week that he did not care how the fans reacted to him.

"Boo me," Butler said. "It's not going to change the way I'm going to make me smile, please, come on with it."

His Wolves teammates have been left in an awkward spot for weeks, and it continues on Friday. Butler barely practiced with the team before the start of the season.

"Jimmy does not care," Tyus Jones teammate said of the booing. "He handles his business when he's on the court, Boos, cheers, whatever."
