Jimmy Butler met Monday with Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau. But the quadruple All-Star still has not changed his mind – he wants to go out.
An exchange that would have sent Butler to the Miami Heat failed over the weekend. The Timberwolves even went so far as to send medical information from the star wing to Miami.

Minnesota and Miami have discussed deals including the creation of a third paid team and a direct exchange between the Timberwolves and the Heat, League sources said. Miami had been forced to include guard Josh Richardson in a possible deal for Butler, but fell back once Minnesota asked for a smooth return for the All-Star striker to four times, League sources said.
