Jimmy Kimmel invaded the streets of Hollywood in the aftermath of the mid-term elections with his "false news".

The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The host claims that Kid Rock won a seat in the Michigan Senate on Tuesday – and people really believed it.

Kimmel sent a correspondent mocking pedestrians during a special edition of his newspaper, "Lie Witness the Vote" from Kimmel's "Lie Witness News", in which he jokes unusual news to find out if people whether they are interested or not.

The rock star, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, hinted that he could be a candidate in the Senate last year before finally Apologizing for the elaborate advertising, which included the sale of "Kid Rock for US Senate" branded products.

The correspondent then asked people what they thought about Kid Rock's supposed policies, including lowering the age of buying scratch lottery tickets at 10, legalization of methamphetamine for medical purposes, as well as its supposed campaign slogan, "Feel good: no new tax."

People seemed shocked and confused, but did not dispute the information.

At the end of the segment, the careless group sent messages of advice to the musician: "Senator … I am sick and dismayed to have won," said one man.

Kid Rock is a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump. He went to the White House last month for the signing of the Modernization of Music Act.
