Director Todd Phillips recently released an on-screen test of Joaquin Phoenix that turns into Batman's sworn nemesis in full preparation for the upcoming movie about the crime clown prince.
At first, Phoenix appears in his pre-evil form as the comic misfire Arthur. Arthur then smiles and the flickering image of The Joker surpasses him to the sound of the song The Guess Who "Laughing".
Phillips mocked the film earlier last week by posting a pre-makeup photo of a sullen Phoenix under the name "Arthur," apparently confirming information that the real name of the character would be Arthur Fleck.
Images were also broadcast on the Phoenix Arthur striking a clown's nose in an alley.
An outing on October 4, 2019 is scheduled for the original movie The Joker.
