The husband of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice will be deported after being released from jail next year, a judge said on Wednesday.

Giudice, who appeared in an immigration court in York, Pennsylvania, by teleconference, may appeal on November 9.

Giudice is an Italian citizen who arrived in the United States while a child and did not realize he was not an American citizen.

"He came here when he was one year old, his family was living the American dream", his Lawyer Miles Feinstein told NJ.com in July 2013. "He came here so young. He never planned anything like that."

Giudice must be released from prison in March 2019. He is currently serving a 41-month prison sentence in a federal bankruptcy fraud prison in Allenwood, 165 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

The couple pleaded guilty in 2014 to bankruptcy fraud and submission of fake loan applications in order to get $ 5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failing to pay approximately $ 200,000 in income taxes.

Teresa Giudice was released from prison in December 2015 after spending 11 months at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut.

The messages soliciting the comments of the lawyers of the couple and the journalist of Teresa Giudice did not immediately return Wednesday.
