Joel Embiid tested with incredibly hot wings, sweats, but dominates by habit

It was good to boast.

And I'm not talking about Rhys Hoskins. I'm talking about the crowd of New York Yankees fans who took over from Citizens Bank Park for the second consecutive night on Tuesday.

It was good to boo fans of the Yankees. And there were plenty of opportunities on Tuesday night

I regularly go to games at CBP since it opened in 2004 and last night, it was the fans of the most opposite team that I am I've never seen in our ball park.

This is an unhappy state of affairs for Phillies fans. Our team is always moving towards ways to consistently win and does not have the personality and star power of a Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins. Not to mention that many Philly sports fans are still indebted for all the money they've spent on the Super Bowl and the following championship equipment (The Eagles won the Super Bowl 52) . The Yankees are the best baseball team and are just as likely to have fans at Broomall as the Bronx. They sent one of the best pitchers of the game last night

The fact that there were tons of Yankees fans in our ball park was not surprising to me. But it was really unpleasant.

Aaron Hicks dominated in the first leg of the match and the Yankees' songs began. They did not stop the rest of the night.

On the bright side, they were greeted with a lot of boos by Philly's faithful – myself included.

"I'm sure we're closing this Yankees song alone with our boos," I said to my wife at one point, "She accepted, we did our little part."

While there was undoubtedly very unpleasant to have as many opposing supporters as their team dominated ours at the time of a 6-0 win, there was something fun to fight back.

The park had Life Last Night There was undeniable energy in the building, though favoring the dark side

While the Phillies on the ground may not have done well, I was proud of the Philly fans' reaction to the invasion I have not seen a single confrontation other than hoots and sports jokes

And you know who brought his game? The Phillie Phanatic

At one point, after a particularly strong Yankees chant, the Phanatic bent down and knocked at several times his ear on a seat at the field level. Unfortunately, I wrote a note in my phone on that time being the highlight of the night.

But then the Phanatic used his jersey to block the sight of some Yankees. fans and it was even better. When you lose, you take small victories where you can.
