John Oliver urges Brazil not to vote for their own asset

Oliver admits that the codename "looks like an original Netflix comedy starring Kevin James who for some reason will be recommended to you because you watched an episode of Chef's table."But the Car Wash operation has led to charges for about 200 people and is" bigger than Watergate. "The widespread corruption has discouraged voters who have no confidence in their leaders. Brazil as a "country of misery" which, according to Oliver, is more like Britain's travel slogan.

In the midst of this corruption scandal, Brazilians elect a new president. The first-round favorite seems to be the far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro, a man whom some regard as a Brazilian version of Donald Trump.

While the former president and left, Luiz Inacio da Silva, was leading the poll, he was imprisoned for corruption. His heir, the former mayor of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad has not yet found a solid foundation. Bolsonaro is not that problem.

"The nicest thing that can be said about him, is that he has not yet been involved in a corruption scandal," Oliver said. Unfortunately, it's the only complementary thing Oliver can say about him, because "he's a terrible human being" who insists on using "finger guns" all the time. He is also accused of horrible homophobia, blatant misogyny, racism and torture, and has become nostalgic for Brazil's past military dictatorship. Oliver has the shocking clips to prove it.

Bolsonaro won the first round of the poll with a surprising lead, but he did not win an outright victory on Sunday. Oliver says that in the second round, voters can always save themselves and choose "ele não" or not.
