Update

Veteran Texans quarterback Johnathan Joseph is injured in his left ankle Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins, leaving the still-over-side shorthanded.

Jadeveon Clowney, his teammate, felt upset when the Pro Bowl's outside linebacker accidentally rolled into the ankle of the defensive back.

Joseph limped off the ground and headed to the locker room for further assessment after being examined in the medical tent from the side.

The Texans are already playing without half-corners Kevin Johnson (concussion, injured reserve), Aaron Colvin (ankle) and Shareece Wright (shoulder, groin).

When Joseph left the match with a dubious announcement, he was replaced by rookie Natrell Jamerson.

Jamerson is an unedited free agent from Wisconsin.

After Joseph hurt himself, linebacker Zach Cunningham headed to the locker room with a knee injury.

The main striker of the Texans is doubtful to return.
