Bobbitt was homeless and addicted in November when he gave his last 20 dollars to Kate McClure, a motorist stranded on the roadside in Philadelphia.

To thank him, McClure and his boyfriend, Mark D & # 39; Amico, created a GoFundMe account for Bobbitt, which raised $ 400,000 from more than 14,000 people.

The attorney for McClure and D'Amico finally told a court that he had learned that there was no more money left.
The couple's home in Bordentown, New Jersey, was raided Thursday, and a video shows a black BMW car being towed.

McClure and Amico are expected to appear in court next week for a statement in a lawsuit filed by Bobbitt about the money.
The Burlington County Attorney's Office confirmed Thursday in a Facebook message that due to "a huge public interest," McClue and Amico are the object of a investigation, but no charges have been filed.
