Johnny Depp will not appear in any other Pirates of the Caribbean movie, according to reports.
Sending to DailyMail TV, original screenwriter Stuart Beattie nodded when it was suggested that Depp's time was over.
"I think he's done a good race," he said. "He obviously endorsed this character and became his most famous.
"And kids all over the world love him as a character, so I think it's been great for him. It's great for us, so I'm really happy with that. "
Depp, 55, has played lurid captain Jack Sparrow in five Disney franchise films for more than 15 years, including the most recent in 2017 in Dead Men Tell No Tales.
