Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones have maintained one of the most lasting and striking rivalries of the UFC. There have been press conference battles, senseless amounts of bullshit, fights that Cormier has never managed to win, and a lot of Jones' failed drug tests. But as Cormier became the heavyweight champion in July, and Jones remained in the limelight for so long, it seemed like it was time for the rivalry to go away. Cormier himself told reporters just a few weeks ago that he had "overtaken" his beef with Jones. This does not seem to be the case.
Jones and Cormier are currently continuing on social media where all people will express their pure hatred towards their enemies. It started with Jones, who was recently allowed to return to the UFC after USADA decided not to voluntarily take the banned substance that led to its last suspension, rushing to a tweet that Cormier had sent complaining about the frequency with which USADA calls it:
Cormier, perhaps still disturbed by the fact that his inability to beat Jones represents the only real gap in his MMA career, countered:
These two guys are too old for that.
