Back in the folks
The Eagles won in the first week, which is important to them, but Nick Foles did not play very well. In fact, his mark of 50.7 was the lowest ever. But there are some factors that seem to be in favor of the Foles this weekend. He had an extra week of reps, he always seems to be bouncing back from his bad games and he had some great performances at Raymond James Stadium.
The Bucs scored 48 points last week, but their defense lost 40 points. The Foles could therefore prepare to face a team with a second triumph.
Expect green
Even though Hurricane Florence hits the Carolinas, there will still be tons of Eagles fans in Florida for the game this weekend. They will probably stay at Clearwooder.
I imagine we will see a lot of Eagles fans on the road this season, even more than in the past. I'm just wondering how it's going to separate. There are so many good trips this year: Tampa, Nashville, New Orleans, LA and London. I think Eagles fans will be well represented at every stop.
"It's great to see this green sea in the stadium," said Doug Pederson. "How noisy and disruptive they can be for the local team is great. I think our fans travel extremely well. Have them all over the country, all over the world and hope for a good crowd in Tampa this weekend.
Hello, old friends
There will be some familiar faces on the defensive line of the Bucs this weekend. Beau Allen and Vinny Curry are both starters for the defensive line of the Bucs. Both had been in Philadelphia for many years and are now with their second teams.
Pederson said the Birds have changed their line of call this weekend due to the fact that Allen and Curry are experiencing the Eagles offensive. Pederson did not want to do too much, but they must know that these two men know the offensive.
