Josh Groban captivated The show late with a moving interpretation of "She's still a woman" from her Bridges Monday night (November 19th), bringing its charm to the classic of beloved pop.
Sitting alone in front of a piano, Groban's warm operatic voice melted into Billy Joel's love song in 1977: "She can kill with a smile / She can hurt with her eyes / She can ruin her faith with her casual lies / And she alone reveals what she wants you to see / She's hiding like a child / But she's still a woman to me. "
An accordionist joined the baritone at age 37 while her voice was gaining strength: "Oh, she's taking care of herself / She can wait if she wants / She's ahead of her time."
