TEMPE, Arizona – The Josh Rosen Era will continue Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals.
Cardinals coach Steve Wilks named Rosen, Arizona's first-round pick in April, starting quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks at his Monday afternoon press conference.
Rosen replaced Sam Bradford in the 16-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday at 4 minutes and 31 seconds from the end of the game. He attempted to place the remote offensive for a goal on the field, but was intercepted to end his first outing and then was fired until the end of the match.
Rosen, 21, was selected 10th by the Cardinals.
There will now be four quarter-first rookies starting in Week 4 (Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Rosen and Josh Allen). The last time four first round QBs started in the same week, it was week 16 of 2012, while it was Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden.
