It seems that the rumor of Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson's marriage date is June 30th. As expected, the two friends met on Saturday as their family and friends gathered to watch one of Jim Bob's 19 children and Michelle leave the nest again. People had all the details and also the first official wedding photo of the bride and groom.
The wedding took place at John Brown University's Ozarks Cathedral in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. It's the same place where Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo a year and a half ago. It's a picturesque place for a romantic wedding.
Lauren wore a wedding dress from The White Dress Shop. It was a simple style with cap sleeves and she wore a bouquet of white flowers. She left her hair with soft curls flowing around her shoulders. Josiah was impressed by his wife when he saw her walking down the aisle. He told People that their special day was perfect, but seeing his new wife at the other end of the aisle made her even more perfect.
"What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride coming down the alley.We are so grateful that the Lord has brought us to this place and we can not wait to begin our journey as a husband and woman! "
Josiah looked dashing in a gray suit with a black tie. He asked Lauren to marry him in March, and now, three months later, they are husband and wife. Duggar's son says he's ready to start their new life together.

Apparently, gardening is not the only thing that has kept Jana Duggar busy in recent weeks. Josiah's eldest sister, and her sister-in-law, Anna, were tasked with creating and sewing color-blushed robes for the eight bridesmaids Lauren had chosen to be by her side. The names of the girls have not yet been revealed, but she certainly had a lot of women to choose from. Josiah has many sisters and the bride also has seven younger siblings.
Dwain Swanson, Lauren's father, officiated the ceremony. There was a range of colors for the Duggar wedding. According to the report, the couple chose a mix of gray and blue, pink and olive, and green and white. The reception was full of delicious cupcakes, as well as a heart-shaped wedding cake.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar expressed how delighted they were to welcome another daughter-in-law into their growing family. It looks like they'll soon be welcoming John David's new daughter, Abbie Burnett, into the family. A serious court follows a marriage proposal about three months later, so look for an announcement of the most likely engagement by September. It would not be a surprise to hear baby news coming from the newly married couple very soon too.
