Justin Bieber "upset" about Selena Gomez's hospitalization: "He understands how serious it is" (Exclusive)

Justin Bieber relies on his friends.

The 24-year-old pop star star was seen at the Los Angeles Hillsong Church Wednesday, shortly after the announcement of the news of her ex-wife Selena Gomez, who had been hospitalized for mental health care after emotional depression.

Bieber looked visibly ruffled, with his long tousled hair in front of his face, wearing an oversized pink sweatshirt as he stood in front of the church solo. Hailey Baldwin was not present.

After the service, the singer "Sorry" was seen coming back to his car with a group of friends, who comforted him with cuddles. Bieber protected his face from the cameras as he was getting in his car and leaving.

A source told ET that Bieber was "upset" by the announcement of Gomez 'hospitalization.

"Justin was very upset when he heard the news from Selena," the source said. "Although he's engaged to Hailey, Selena has a special place in his heart." Justin spent most of the day alone and even did a solo hike up to the Wisdom Tree in Los Angeles for Escape and decompress. "Justin then went to his church where he was visibly upset, without Hailey, and was comforted by friends."

"Justin wants above all the best for Selena," continued the source. "When the two men revived their romantic relationship, he was able to see how much his health really affected him, so he is aware of the seriousness of the situation."

It is unusual for Bieber to go to church without Baldwin, the couple having been spotted during several services. It turns out that Gomez, 26, also attends the Hillsong Church.

Earlier in the day, Baldwin shared a photo of his kiss on Instagram Stories with his guy. The 21-year-old model and Bieber secretly tied up in New York last month, but have not publicly confirmed this news.

"Justin and Hailey are legally married, but Justin tells his friends that he does not plan to wear an alliance for a while," a source told ET. "Even though Hailey and Justin speak publicly about their relationship, they try not to show it, and that's why they kept their marriage secret and got engaged without telling anyone."

As for Gomez, she receives the treatment she needs after several setbacks in health.

Another source told ET that the singer "Wolves" had sought treatment in a psychiatric facility. According to several reports, Gomez has reportedly been to the hospital twice in recent weeks. The first time, she was moved and moved by an alarming number of white blood cells.

The hospitalization led Gomez to an "emotional depression", causing a "crisis" and a "panic" when she was not allowed to leave.
