A former West Virginia star Justin Crawford was arrested in Georgia on charges of incest, buggery and indecent indecency for an indecent purpose, according to TMZ Sports.

Crawford, 23, was arrested on Saturday and jailed, according to the report. No other details have been published.

In both seasons in West Virginia, Crawford racked up 2,244 yards and 11 TDs, becoming the seventh mountain in the program's history with consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns.

The former national player of the year JUCO missed the game last season in West Virginia to not get hurt before a career in the NFL that never happened. The 6-foot, 200-pound running back has not been folded and is now playing for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football (AAF).

Signed as a free player not traded by the Atlanta Falcons in May, Crawford was sidelined on September 1st.

According to an article published by ESPN in 2016, Crawford is married and has two children. He was working at Taco Bell, near the West Virginia campus, before playing for the Mountaineers to help raise a family after two years at the Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Crawford did not comment on his arrest, nor did his AAF team. This story will be updated as more details become available.
