Kanye storms the red carpet of fashion week with Hillary Clinton and Oprah

Kanye West had a busy evening on Friday at the Ralph Lauren fashion show in New York.

The 41-year-old rapper left the red carpet at the New York Fashion Week celebrations at Bethesda Terrace when a reporter asked him about his wife Kim Kardashian West's feud with Tyson Beckford.

"Why do you allow junk journalists?" Asked West organizers of the event, who eventually pulled the reporter out of the press line.

"It has to be fired at the moment or I'm leaving," he added in a video of the scene posted by TMZ.

West told the reporter, "Ralph Lauren would be very ashamed to have asked this question in the trash."

The musician, who had already posed for pictures on the carpet, then returned to the press line to speak with a single point of sale.

Inside, he seemed to bounce back from the incident, sitting at a table with Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey. "I had a good seat," he wrote on Twitter, subtitling a photo of the two, Winfrey in the middle of the conversation.

It was particularly shocking for fans to see West with Clinton. The rapper "Flashing Lights" has been a staunch supporter of former Clinton's political rival, President Donald Trump. From his December 2016 meeting with the former Celebrity Apprentice host at Trump Tower to discuss Trump on Jimmy Kimmel Live in August – and the many times he has worn Trump's Make America Great Again in the meantime – West has become one of Hollywood's most passionate supporters. He even called Trump "my brother" in April.

Love goes both ways, it appears. At a Republican funding dinner in Columbus, Ohio, in August, President Trump praised West and Kardashian West, who have been politically active with Trump and his administration in the past.

"Now we are doing well and Kanye West has loved me and it really helped me … Kanye West really has power! "He also has a good wife to Kim. I'll tell you, she's really [something]. "

The Ralph Lauren Friday event was also followed by a sea of stars, including Blake Lively, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, Tom Hiddleston, Robert De Niro, Rose Byrne, Ansel Elgort, Lily Aldridge, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Anderson, Ellis Ross Tracee, Sheryl Crowe and Steven Spielberg.

For the 50th anniversary show finale, a celebration of the "Ralph Lauren World" was organized. More than 170 models of the designer's diverse collections, women, men and children, gathered on the steps of Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, applauding Lauren himself.
