Rapper Kanye West had jokes and mockery from the audience at "Saturday Night Live" after attending a speech by President Trump during the premiere of the season.

West, wearing a red hat "Make American Great Again" and the cast of the series standing behind him, was launched into the camera, but it was taken on video by comedian Chris Rock.

"I want to cry right now, black man in America, supposed to keep what you feel inside now," he sang while walking on the stage.

He continued, "Blacks still want Democrats, you know it's like the plan they've made, to get the fathers out of the house and help them out. Does anyone know it? It is a democratic plan.

Then he turned to his support of Trump.

"There are so many times that I talk to a white person about it and she says," How could you like Trump? He is racist. "Well, if I was concerned about racism, I would have left America long ago."

A handful of applause was quickly drowned by bursts of laughter in the audience.

You could hear Rock on the video saying, "Oh, my God."

West appeared on the season's first game of the series as a last-minute substitute for Ariana Grande, who canceled.
