Kanye West has designed a clothing line for the "Blexit" campaign, which encourages African-American voters to leave the Democratic Party.
The line of shirts and hats supporting "Blexit" – a play of words resembling the nickname of Britain's exit from the European Union – debuted on Saturday at the Black Young Leadership Summit of Turning Point USA, an event in Washington attended by young American Conservatives, according to Page Six.
"Blexit is a rebirth and I'm happy to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and superhero Kanye West," said Page Six, Turning Point USA's director of communications.
The rapper "took one of the most daring steps in the United States to open the conversation we needed," added Owens.
West did not attend the event.
The garment displays the motto of the group, "We are free" or the word "Blexit", and the description of each article indicates "Design by Kanye West".
