Kim Kardashian West stands near his man – no matter what happens.
Kanye West's pro-Trump surprise is raging this weekend. Saturday Night Live The first was greeted by fierce criticism from fans and celebrities. And while one source tells people that controversy may weigh on the reality TV star, she still supports her husband.
"This whole reaction to Kanye is embarrassing for her and her family, but she will never say that," the source said. "She supports Kanye from start to finish and really thinks that her husband is entitled to his own opinion."

While West, 41, has publicly lined up on the president, the source said that Kardashian West, 37, voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election – but tries to be open on the policy. (Another insider says that she socialized with Clinton on occasion, and she even took a selfie with the Democratic presidential candidate and West in 2015.)
"Kim did not blindly follow the group of celebrities who supported Hillary during the elections, although she voted for her," the source said. "She respects some aspects of Trump, but it's ultimately Hillary who made her decision."

A separate source had previously told PEOPLE that Kardashian West did not seem at all bothered by her husband's speech on Saturday night. The couple's 5-year-old daughter, North, was also seen dancing throughout her show, which Kourtney Kardashian, 39, and Scott Disick, 35, also attended.
"While Kanye was talking, Kim was standing at the back and watching," said this source. "The children were there too. She did not seem at all [was up]she was just looking. "
Although their policies may differ, Kardashian West dined with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and she managed to pressure the president to forgive Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old non-violent drug addict who, in 1996 , was sentenced to speak.
