Karlie Kloss wants her wedding dress to match the most recent Duchess of England.
"She looked gorgeous on her wedding day," Kloss told Refinery29 about Meghan Markle talking about wedding dress inspiration in an interview published on Friday. "I feel like it's a day when you just want to feel happy, beautiful and unstressed."
The American actress turned Duchess of Sussex married Prince Harry in May in a Givenchy couture dress for her ceremony and then turned it into an elegant Stella McCartney dress for the reception.
The 26-year-old model, who became engaged to her boyfriend Josh Kushner over the summer, says that beyond the "Markle Sparkle" she does not have a lot of glamor.
"I am still enjoying the happiness of the engagement, but I am definitely someone who opts for" less is more "when it comes to beauty," she said. "I like a strong lip or a powerful eye, but I would like to keep it more natural. For the hair, an updo is quite logical. Get out of the way so you can dance and have a good time.
As for other wedding preparations, Kloss converted to Judaism, the religion of his fiance before the big day.
And although her future husband has ties to the White House, her brother Josh being married to Ivanka Trump and a close adviser to the president, Kloss – who has been criticized for his connection to the first family – says the couple lives by " liberal values ".
"I chose to be with the man I love despite the complications," she told Vogue earlier this month. "It's frustrating, to be honest, that the spotlight is always shifted from my career to my relationship."
