Saturday Night Live & # 39;This is the biggest political story of the week, but in our 24/7 news cycle, it seems hard to know which one to focus on. Fortunately, this week was easy – Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigned from his position, and so, Saturday Night Live and Kate McKinnon sent Jeff Sessions in a charming and appropriate manner – Robert De Niro taking over his role as Robert Mueller. Oh, and some Adele too.
The drawing opens with Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Aidy Bryant ruthlessly searching the White House for Jeff Sessions. He should evacuate immediately. He does not work there anymore, so he needs to clean his desk. The sessions, played by McKinnon, hide in the office and soon he begins to remember all the wonderful and heinous things he did when he was the Attorney General while he was putting away his belongings ( a sarcastic prize from the NAACP and a mug with a confederate flag and a secret message for secret racists are among them). But it's too much for Sessions, who is sad to leave the president and sad that Trump has asked him to resign. And then, he starts the song – Adele "Someone Like You". Who has not been there?
