Model and actress Kate Upton mocked her famous speech on the defense of her husband, Justin Verlander, following Wednesday's announcement of Tampa Bay Rays winner Blake Snell, who won the trophy Cy Young Award.
Verlander, who is with the Houston Astros, was second in the vote.
Upton's tweet on Wednesday made reference to a Twitter talk she made in 2016 when she felt Verlander had been stolen from the AL Cy Young Award. That year, Rick Porcello won the award despite the fact that Verlander had more votes in first place than any other AL pitcher.
Verlander had an ERA and a lower WHIP and more bars than Porcello this season while he was playing for the Detroit Tigers.
This season, Snell averaged less than 2.00 with 21 wins in 180.2 innings. He won 17 of 30 votes in first place. Verlander had the other 13 first place votes.
And of course, the support of his famous wife.
