Kate Upton tweets against referees from her seat at the Astros match

Kate Upton had a perfect view of Game 4 of the Astros-Red Sox series on Wednesday night, sitting in the front row behind home plate, next to Whitney Crane, wife of Astros owner Jim Crane.

Those seats were far away from the controversial fan interference call in the first inning that cost the Astros' Jose Altuve a home run, but the supermodel and wife of Justin Verlander let her opinion be known on Twitter.

"So if a player is IN the stands fans are suppose to move over? If those are the rules MLB shouldn't let fans sit there. They didn't reach over the fence. @MLB," Upton tweeted.

That tweet got more than 750 replies, and because Twitter is not always a nice place, a lot of those replies weren't kind, which led Upton to tweet again.

"I feel the need to acknowledge & address the amount of people who have called me "princess", "honey" or a terrible "girl" sports fan. Just because I have an opinion on the call doesn't give you the right to be degrading & disrespectful because I'm a woman," Upton tweeted.
