Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander is aiming to win the fifth ALCS game against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night. His wife, Kate Upton, was in the stands, cheering the team all week and showing her growing baby bump.
On Wednesday, October 17, Upton was seen sitting behind the marble, wearing a black set on her stomach. She was wearing her long blond hair and accessorized with a bracelet, which could be seen while she was clapping for the local team.
The night before, Upton was dressed in a fitted off-white dress and a matching jacket that she wore on her shoulders. She associated the look with some orange touches, which are part of the Astros color palette. She was wearing an orange shoulder bag and a pair of orange sunglasses hanging from the edge of her dress. She also wore a bold lip that seemed to belong to the orange family. Last July, Upton announced that she and Verlander were expecting their first child together. She posted a picture of her baby bump just in Miami while she was subtitled with a simple hashtag: #PregnantInMiami. Upton tagged her husband and added two emoticons, a smiling face and a heart.
Upton is pregnant for several months, although her exact delivery date is unclear. It is thought that she is in her third trimester and is expected for the winter, according to her publications on social networks.
"#The return to the time when I could tie my own shoes," she subtitled a photo in August.
Upton and Verlander got together in 2017. The couple exchanged vows in Italy less than a month after Verlander and the Astros won the World Series.
"Upton was wearing a white long-sleeved lace dress and a long white veil. Meanwhile, Verlander was wearing a classic black tuxedo. The model wore a bouquet of peach flowers, pale pink and ivory and the outdoor ceremony was decorated with similar floral arrangements, "reported People Magazine at the time.
The Houston Astros follow the Red Sox 3-1 in the ALCS. Verlander will take the mound tonight in Houston, who needs a win to stay alive in this series. If the Astros can win the fifth game, they will return to Boston for the sixth match.
