Kate's very cheeky Christmas present for Prince Harry revealed | Royal | New

The Duchess of Cambridge gave her brother-in-law a Grow a Girlfriend kit just before Harry met his wife Meghan Markle. It is said that this joke shows how close Kate and Harry are. Kate will have to return to the board this year thinking about a present for Harry.

But the Windsors all believe that they have a rule when buying gifts: they must be inexpensive and cheerful.

Harry would even have given his grandmother, the queen, a shower cap with "not life a bitch" on the front.

Meghan Markle is also believed to have offered Her Majesty a hilarious gift – a singing hamster.

One of the Corgis would have broken the present, reports The Mirror.

Harry and Meghan got married in May. It is therefore unlikely that he will receive a similar kit this year.

The royal couple are expecting their first child in the spring of 2019.

Meghan's pregnancy was announced on October 15, the day the Duke and Duchess began their royal tour in Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand.

It is always said that members of the royal family apply a sense of humor when they buy their gifts.

This year, they will be exchanging Christmas presents at Sandringham House in Norfolk, the Windsors' traditional venue to celebrate the holiday season.

In the sixties, Christmas was often spent at Windsor Castle when Prince Charles, Prince Edward, Princess Anne and Princess Margaret were younger.

But after Windsor Castle was rewired in 1988, members of the royal family transferred their Christmas feast to Sandringham.

According to the royal tradition, Queen Charlotte, wife of George III, introduced the Christmas tree at royal family celebrations each December.

The royal family places their gifts on trestle tables and exchanges them at tea time.

In the morning, they go to the church of St. Mary Magdalene, a 16th century church with a cast in Florentine marble, a Greek font of the 9th century and stained glass 500 years.

St. Mary Magdalene has already been visited by the great Queen's great grandmother, Queen Victoria.

As Christmas approaches, the Queen and Prince Philip have sent up to 750 Christmas cards, usually with a photo of the royal family.

The cards are signed "Elizabeth R" and "Philip".

This year, the queen would have invited Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, to participate in the celebrations.
