Attorney Michael Avenatti on Wednesday identified another Supreme Court choice prosecutor, Brett Kavanaugh, Washington, DC, resident Julie Swetnick.
Kavanaugh repeatedly denied having committed sexual misconduct. He also claims to have been a virgin in high school.
The White House had no immediate comment on Swetnick's allegations. White House spokesman Raj Shah is Kavanaugh's representative to the press for his pending candidacy by President Donald Trump.
Senate Judiciary Committee critic Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and leading Democratic member Dianne Feinstein, of California, did not immediately respond to CNBC's requests for comments on the Avenatti client.
Avenatti said for several days that he had a client, so far nameless, who knew about gang rapes related to Kavanaugh. His handing over of Swetnick's affidavit to the senior counsel of the Senate Judiciary Committee comes one day before Kavanaugh and another woman accusing him of sexual assault come to testify before this committee.
