Kavanaugh's accusations only delay the tactics of Democrats: Varney

It was like a bombshell: a second woman had made an allegation against Judge Kavanaugh. The story broke last night at the New Yorker. Deborah Ramirez said that he had been exposed to her at a drinking party at Yale in the early 80s.

However, the New York Times had interviewed dozens of women over the past week to corroborate its story. They did not find any. Indeed, Ms. Ramirez herself had contacted her Yale classmates to ask them if they remembered the incident. And she had been drinking.

In addition, none of the people suspected of witnessing the alleged incident in high school can corroborate the story of Dr. Christine Ford.

Two allegations, both dating back more than 30 years ago … no corroborating witnesses. No tangible proof. And both come to light at the last minute.

The clear intention of the Democrats: Delay after the November elections, while they hope that another balance of political power could flow Kavanaugh's investiture.

This is in fact the same story with China: they too delay trade negotiations, hoping for political change.

Obviously, there is a lot to do in the November vote. The future composition of the Supreme Court. Our relationship with our biggest trading partner. And yes, indictment … there are less than six weeks left, and these elections are perhaps more important than any other middle term of recent memory.
