reNational Democratic Committee Vice President Keith Ellison, who is accused of spousal abuse by his ex-girlfriend, is resigning from his position at the DNC.

Ellison said he was to focus on his next run for the Minnesota Attorney General in November, and that he "was considering" resigning during an interview with WCCO Radio on Wednesday.

"You know, I've evaluated this recently, so we'll see," Ellison said. "I have to devote 100% of my time, energy and resources to the race and my office, so it's something I consider."

The comments came after Susan Ellingstad, hired by the Minnesota Democrat-Peasant-Worker Party to investigate allegations of spousal abuse, determined that she could not justify this assertion because the ex-wife – Ellison's little friend, Karen Monahan, had refused to hand over the video content of the alleged journalist. abuse.

Monahan accused Ellison of having dragged her by the feet of a bed when he shouted at her in 2016. She announced in September that she would not divulge the video, among other things. because she was traumatic and humiliating.

"An allegation alone is not necessarily sufficient to conclude a behavior, especially when the accusing party refuses to produce evidence to support its own assertion," wrote Ellingstad in his report. "So she repeatedly put the existence of the video at the center of her allegations, but then refused to disclose it."

Ellison rejected the allegations.
