Keith Urban was produced in front of thousands of spectators at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio on Thursday night, but the brightest moment of this tour stopped a few hours earlier in the Mercy Health St. Vincent neighboring health center.

Urban took a break after her rehearsals Thursday to visit her biggest fan, Marissa English, a 25-year-old country music lover struggling with a range of debilitating health issues, including hydrocephalus, a Inoperable cyst of the brain, cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis.

According to her mother, Marlise Matthews, and her sister, Madison Rowe, English girl wanted nothing more than to perform in concert, but when her condition, which was already declining, deteriorated, English could not get out of bed, much less to go to a concert.

But some very special guardians would not want English to be dropped.

"Some nurses have made it their mission to fulfill their dream," Matthews told TODAY. "They launched a social media blitz that took off to get Keith's attention."

The media campaign worked well and, after a little organization, Urban arrived in the English hospital room.

"The visit was really amazing," Matthews told TODAY. Keith was so compassionate with her. He held her hand while he was talking to her and singing to him.

Urban serenade in English with his favorite song, "Blue Is not Your Color", and kiss his biggest fan on the cheek.

"She's so calmed down while he was here," Matthews said. "His heart rate went down a lot and his blood pressure was the best for days."

English has been in the hospital for 17 days, fighting for his life, according to Rowe, the sister of English.

After nearly an hour in English, Urban asked his family and his intensive care pediatric intensive care nurse to come to the concert that night.

Before the show started, Urban recognized his special guests and dedicated the entire show to "his biggest fan, Marissa," according to Matthews.

"It was so emotional," Matthews recalls. "The whole hall broke under applause. … a lot of tears from everyone out there. "

Back in St. Vincent, English listened to Urban's music and watched his many photos with his favorite singer.

While she continues to struggle despite the pain and hardship, her family sees each subsequent day as a blessing.

"Throughout her stay there, it was as if she had almost regained her former personality," Rowe told TODAY's. "Her whole face lit up and she wanted to talk, sing and smile. For Marissa, it was the wish of a lifetime to come true.
