Kelly Clarkson extinguishes rumors of Feud with Carrie Underwood (Exclusive)

Music lovers are preparing to be disappointed: there is no Kelly Clarkson-Carrie Underwood rivalry.

Clarkson, 36, spoke Friday at Katie Krause's ET on Red Carpet at Radio Disney Music Awards in Hollywood, California. She told ET that for some reason, people have always thought that both American idol the winners disagreed, but Clarkson said that has never been the case. Yet that did not stop fans from losing their heads when the two ended up on the red carpet on Friday.

Clarkson said it was his idea to pose for a red carpet photo together.

"Everyone is always trying to pit me against Carrie and me," she said. "So when I saw it, I thought," You know what, let's finish it now and take a picture together because we're never in the same place. "And, like that, it never happens, and people always try to assemble them as if we were enemies, and I said to myself," We do not even know each other enough to be enemies. "So, anyway, I went to get a picture and everyone lost their minds. "

Clarkson also talked about recently receiving a gift from Underwood – who sent him some clothes from his fitness line, CALIA – and sharing it on Twitter.

"It's really, really rad," she says. "But how they presented it was, like, glorious!"

Clarkson received the Icon Award at Radio Disney Music Awards for transcending pop music. Underwood, meanwhile, has received the Hero's Award for his charitable work and many humanitarian efforts.

But they were not the only two winners of television shows in hand. Clarkson was with The voice Season 14 winner, Brynn Cartelli, who told AND that she had had the opportunity to meet the children of Clarkson, River Rose, who has just turned 4, and Remington Alexander , 2 years.

"Oh yes, I love them both!" Cartelli said ET.

Clarkson also said that she really enjoys motherhood as her two children grow up.
