Playing in his first Division I game, quarterback Terry Wilson completed 11 of 16 passes for 151 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He won 105 yards and one touchdown in 10 races. British running back Benny Snell has risen to 175 yards in 27 races.

The series officially ended when quarterback Feleipe Franks failed in a Hail Mary test in the final and the British Davonte Robinson returned for a touchdown while the players were trying to determine if the match was over. .

Wilson opened the scoring by escaping pressure on a 2nd and 16th set in Kentucky's first run, long enough to find leading catcher David Bouvier in the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown pass . The game finished with a 91-yard opening for Kentucky, which also included a 31-yard Wilson run.

Florida, No. 25, was close to touching the next game, but a review revealed that Franks had been pushed out of Kentucky's 3-yard line line instead of the 1-yard line. short of a first down. British defensive lineman Phil Hoskins fired Franks for a nine-yard loss in the next game, and a third-placed pass was incomplete to force Florida to settle for a 29-yard goal.

After forcing a kick, the Gators finally found a rhythm against Kentucky's defense with a 63-meter touchdown pass, helped by a 15-yard penalty for a mask against Tymere Dubose. Florida took the lead on an 18-yard Franks pass at Moral Stephens.

Kentucky lost two chances to regain the lead in the second quarter when Wilson lost a breakaway on Florida's 33-yard line and intercepted the Gators' 2-yard line just before half-time.

Wilson placed both turnovers behind him in the opening of the second half with a 24-yard touchdown run to give Kentucky a 14-10 lead. Every 90 yards on the disc came on the field between Wilson, Snell and backup forward A.J. Rose.

Kentucky seemed about to jump on his next record, but with excellent protection against his offensive line, Wilson was in the pocket long enough to find receiver Lynn Bowden for a 53-yard touchdown pass on the 3 and 16 lead to 21-10.

The United Kingdom received the kind of break that it rarely had in the consecutive losing streak when officials thought the 36-yard goal attempt was right. The replays seemed to show that the kick was good, and the Swamp crowd flooded the officials with several pieces.

The Kentucky attack stalled in its next two tries, and Florida led 99 yards on 15 games for a touchdown that scored four points at 3:34. British linebacker Josh Allen got a hand on the possible two-point conversion to keep the score at 21-16.
