LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Police still looking for two Kentucky inmates who escaped late Saturday night hiding in the trash.

Around 10 pm On Saturday, Justin Stumler and Jeremy Hunt escaped from the Louisville Metro Correctional Services hiding "in the trash cans for food waste, which were then taken to the outside of the facility for to be eliminated, "according to a statement from the prison.

A witness saw the men escaping and notified a correctional officer, the statement said.

Stumler and Hunt both worked in the prison kitchen. A statement from Metro Corrections said both men were "minimum security inmates". Arrest warrants have been issued for them.

Until Sunday morning, none of the men was found, according to MetroSafe of Louisville.

Jeffersontown police arrested Stumler on August 27 on charges of motor vehicle theft, possession of a handgun by a convicted criminal, possession of drugs and possession of equipment for the use of drugs .

The Louisville Metro Police Department arrested Hunt on June 28 with several charges of burglary for crime.
