Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige thinks it would be cool to do a Young Avengers movie starring The ant man& # 39; s Cassie Lang. Even though the last 10 years of MCU films have remained mostly focused on a handful of characters, Marvel still thinks about the future. Recent examples like Aaron Davis of Donald Glover teasing the existence of his nephew as comic readers know to be Miles Morales show how much the studio is keeping its options open. This type of installation can even come with the cast of supporting characters, such as Cassie Lang in the The ant man series.
The first The ant man introduced the audience to Abby Ryder Fortson as the lovable daughter of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Cassie Lang. Marketing for Ant-Man and the wasp even started planting the seeds that Cassie wants to be a hero one day too. That's exactly what she does in comics by becoming the hero known as Stature where she is a member of the Young Avengers.

Screen Rant had the opportunity to talk to Kevin Feige at the press conference for Ant-Man and the wasp and ask him about the possibility that the potential of Cassie's cartoon is being achieved. Taking a step further though, our question was about how it could be used to help Young Avengers on the big screen.
Screen Rant: Do you think we'll ever have the Young Avengers because Cassie and Stature go hand in hand.
Kevin Feige: Obviously, everything from comics is our inspiration for the future. We love that Cassie in this particular movie is inspired by her father, wants to do good. We are certainly following this trend. Where, when, how, we'll see, but I think it would be cool.
Even though Feige is not yet ready to engage with the Young Avengers yet, it seems like it's something they're building. One of the most intriguing stories to come out of the Avengers 4 Production process was the revelation that an old version of Cassie had been launched. Emma Furhmann will play the old version and will be seven years older than Fortson, perhaps hinting at a significant jump in time. It is not known if Furhmann will show Stature's size-changing capabilities in Avengers 4but it seems more likely that not that Cassie will dress at any given time.
Cassie becoming Stature is one thing, but there are still many other developments that must happen for the Young Avengers to form. The original team consists of Nathaniel Richards aka Iron Lad, the time of the descent of the Fantastic Four; Elijah Bradley aka Patriot, the descendant of another version of Captain America; William Kaplan aka Wiccan, the child of the manipulated reality of Scarlet Witch; Teddy Altman aka Hulkling, a Kree metamorph; and Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye.
There have been seeds planted for a few, but Patriot is the closest to getting to the big screen after being considered for Black Panther. Iron Lad may have to wait until the end of the Fox-Disney deal, while Wiccan, Hulkling and Kate Bishop could all be staged in future MCU films. Marvel could also adjust the list as they see fit to include some other highly requested characters, and perhaps even both Wiccan and Speed. If Feige is considering Young Avengers, we should know more at the end of Avengers 4.
