Kevin Feige says that at least two LGBTQ characters will soon be in Marvel movies.
The studio chief revealed that there will soon be a greater representation of the LGBTQ community in the Marvel film universe (MCU).
In an interview with The Playlist, Kevin was asked: "When does one get a gay, bi, LGBTQ character in the MCU?
The interviewer then asked, "This is not someone we've seen before, I guess?"
And Kevin responded by saying, "Both."
Asked to clarify his comments, Marvel's boss added, "The two you saw and the ones you did not see."
Meanwhile, Marvel recently created a list of exclusively female directors for the independent film "Black Widow".
The studio is eyeing the likes of Cate Shortland, Amma Asante and Maggie Betts, having initially started out with a list of 49 candidates for the job.
And Scarlett Johansson, who is preparing to take over the role of Black Widow for the long-awaited stand-alone film, believes Kevin is the ideal person to guide the project.
She said, "I think there is room for that, the only way to do it would be that it was something we had never seen before that is truly revolutionary and incredibly hard.
"I think if anyone could do it, my boss, Kevin Feige, could be a visionary."
Scarlett played for the first time in Iron Man 2 in 2010, and she is confident that the character's tortured past would make an entertaining standalone film.
The 33-year-old star said, "I think it could be something really special.
"There is a lot of room here, the character has a tortured past, she has had to make many difficult decisions, she has a lot of trauma, she has problems, there is room to do everything.
